What brought you to Stanley? What keeps you here?

A beloved former leader of mine recruited me to join Stanley. At the time, I was pregnant with my first child and in a high stress role at a large CPG corporation. I was burnt out and wondering how I could possibly manage continuing to have a great career and also be a new mom simultaneously. Fast forward to my life at Stanley, after 2 years and with a wild toddler in tow, I stay because the promise of being able to have a rewarding career while being a part of a culture that values balance and families has remained true. I have flexibility and support to prioritize my family, while still being able to lead an amazing team working on complex and exciting projects.

What inspires you? (inside of work, outside of work)

At Stanley, you’re not just a cog in the wheel—you’re the conductor of your very own high-speed train. I love being empowered to drive my area of expertise as I see fit, while also having the support and encouragement of leaders and team members across the organization.

What is a favorite memory/accomplishment from your job?

Stanley has been a top search brand on Amazon this year, even reaching the #1 spot on several occasions. This sort of brand heat is a once-in-a-career experience and leading the team that is responsible for forging a great partnership with Amazon that brings Stanleys to millions of consumers is incredibly rewarding.

Tell us how you’re able to be a creator, builder, or inventor in your role?

Every day I’m doing some sort of work that is a first for me or a first for the company. With the rapid growth we have seen, I am able to create new ways to engage with consumers, build even better eCommerce content, and invent new processes to help us move even faster.

What’s your favorite Stanley product? Why?

My favorite product is the Tough-to-Tip Admirals mug. With a rambunctious toddler, I love that my much-needed caffeine boost stays hot and, per the name, doesn’t tip over, no matter where I set it down.
